Dr. Dorner is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.  He received his medical training at the renowned University of Michigan Medical School. His general surgical and plastic surgical training were obtained through the combined plastic surgery program at The Ohio State University.

Immediately drawn to cosmetic surgery, Dr. Dorner sought extended training in advanced aesthetic surgery.  Selected from applicants across the nation, Dr. Dorner completed the highly regarded cosmetic surgery fellowship under John Q. Owsley, MD, one of the innovators of the modern facelift. During this fellowship in San Francisco California, he honed his skills in all aspects of advanced cosmetic surgery including facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, and body contouring.

Dr. Dorner uses modern techniques to provide natural results. Using a SMAS oriented face, neck, and cheek lift, Dr. Dorner is able to provide mid-face and lower facial rejuvenation in one procedure. His techniques help reduce recovery time while providing an uncompromised result without the usual stigma of facial aesthetic surgery. Dr. Dorner has had extensive experience in body cosmetic procedures, and his meticulous attention to every detail gives outstanding results.

Away from the operating room, Dr. Dorner enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He also enjoys sailing, tennis, and tinkering with computers. Dr. Dorner has also written two suspense novels revolving around medicine and technology and is working on a third.
